Superior protection

Biogel® is the world’s leading brand for high quality, technically advanced surgical gloves for healthcare professionals. Biogel® surgical gloves set the standards in protection and comfort, and have a superior puncture indication system for enhanced safety.

Biogel® is the only major surgical glove brand with a non-pyrogenic range, reducing the chance of irritation, fever and inflammation – reducing the need for costly post-operative interventions.
The wide range includes powder-free, low-protein natural rubber latex gloves and powder free synthetic surgical gloves that vary in sensitivity and texture to suit different comfort and protection needs Biogel® has an industry-leading freedom from holes AQL* of 0.65. The industry standard requirement for AQL* is 1.5. The lower the number, the fewer the holes and the higher the quality of glove. Biogel® is proven to have the lowest glove failure rate among major competitors. Non-Biogel gloves are at least 3.5 times as likely to fail than Biogel® gloves 2 .

Biogel® key features and benefits

  • 9/10 surgeons prefer Biogel for fit, feel and comfort 1
  • Every glove (100%) is air inflation tested and visually inspected for quality and safety 1
  • Improved efficiency as less gloves are wasted 2
  • Non-pyrogenic, potentially reducing the risk of post-operative complications 3

Supple natural rubber latex surgical glove puncture indication system

Biogel Eclipse® Reveal® System is softer than standard Biogel surgical gloves. The design creates a comfortable supple feel – with the inherent strength and elasticity of natural rubber latex – for the extra fingertip sensitivity and dexterity you need during surgery1. This design has a textured surface.

The Biogel Eclipse Reveal System is a general-purpose glove puncture indication system including both under- and overglove. They’re packed together for easy double-gloving – so you can rely on clear, fast and large puncture indication2 – to help protect you while you work. The smooth inner surface makes donning easy.

  • Best-in-Class perforation detection3, 4
  • AQL of 0.65 (freedom from holes), determined post packaging5
  • Every glove (100%) is air inflation tested for holes typically not detected in a visual inspection 6
  • Low endotoxin level (<20 EU/pair) which may reduce the risk of post-operative complications5

Supple natural rubber latex surgical indicator underglove

Biogel Eclipse® Indicator® Underglove is softer than standard Biogel surgical gloves made with natural rubber latex. This design creates a comfortable supple feel – with the inherent strength and elasticity of natural rubber latex – for the extra fingertip sensitivity and dexterity you need during surgery1 .

The smooth surface makes double-donning easy.

It is recommended for all general surgeries when latex allergy is not a concern. This glove is also tested for use with chemotherapy agents per ASTM D6978.

  • Softer than regular Biogel natural rubber latex gloves, for supple feel and sensitivity
  • A study showed that you can detect up to 97% of punctures when double-gloving with Biogel puncture indication system3
  • AQL of 0.65 (freedom from holes), determined post packaging4
  • Every glove (100%) is air inflation tested for holes typically not detected in a visual inspection
  • MD (Medical Device) as well as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) certified

This glove is also tested for use with chemotherapy agents per ASTM D6978.

  • AQL of 0.65 (freedom from holes), determined post-packaging3
  • Every glove (100%) is air-inflation tested for holes and visually inspected for quality before dispatch
  • Low endotoxin level (<20 EU/pair) which may reduce the risk of post-operative complications 3, 5
  • MD (Medical Device) as well as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) certified
